About

Updated March 2013: I’m now 28, and an MSII a few months away from taking my Step 1 board exam.

At the time of this writing, I am a 27 year old 1st year medical student (MS1, or OMS I as D.O. schools would prefer it), attending an osteopathic school on the West Coast. I have a degree in engineering, and previously worked in EMS. I’m an agnostic atheist, a natural skeptic, and I strongly believe in the scientific method.

I’m writing this page before my first entry, so I’m not exactly sure what you’ll find me writing. Probably about the “trials and tribulations” of a medical student (as if those haven’t been hashed out enough), and occasionally about some of the more “woo” aspects of osteopathic medicine.
